Are you over 40, do you own a motorcycle?
Ulysses Club is a New Zealand wide club
for motorcyclists or those who have a longstanding interest in
motorcycling. You need to be 40 years of age to join.
When you join your membership is with the national club and you then belong to a local branch. There is a one off $35 joining fee and then you can join for one year at $35 or three years at $90. (Most join for three years at a time – saves $15!). A lot of folk also order a bike badge at the same time ($10). The membership year is from January to December. There is a lot of other regalia and clothing that you can buy, both practical and showing the club logo or name. Your national membership includes a high quality national magazine – the Ulyssian – sent out four times a year.
There is a further local annual charge of $20 for eleven editions of the Nelson branch newsletter.
You need to attend at least two Ulysses events before you can apply for national membership. You will see these events should be written on the registration form. These can be any events off the Itinerary. You also need to be nominated by a current member.
