Our branch has three kinds of Sunday rides:
Organised Rides have a stated destination, are generally longer and may take up to the whole day.
Club Rides There is a branch ride every Sunday. Distances (total) and time away (approximate) are provided. Rides will vary between distance rides (200km+) and rides to more local destinations. Something to suit everyone.
Casual Rides are also afternoon rides, where riders meet, decide on a destination, and organise themselves. There may be a Ride Leader assigned, but if there is not then the group determine this for themselves.
The Club holds a public liability insurance which indemnifies the Club during officially posted Club events. This includes local runs and rallies sanctioned by the Branch. Members are expected to manage their own personal insurance responsibilities and have a road legal vehicle when participating in Club events.
